  1. My father Lt. David A. Donovan was shot down over Chalais (Charente) in France June 8, 1944. It took 3 months to get out. He was with The Françoise network in Toulouse towards the end of July 1944 but went off on his own after his handler Phillipe (Jean-Henri Bregi) got arrested. He worked with different maquisards and even spent time with a Jedburgh Team (Collodion Loch). He met up with the French First Division in Nîmes then Americans and made it out on September 6, 1944. My family and I are leaving for France next week (9/25/19) to follow in his footsteps. My father was a member of this group at least until 1987 I saw his membership card. I am his youngest child and would be interested in following your club. Thank you and we are so excited to be going to France to meet the families that helped my dad evade capture.
