The article “WWII soldiers get chance to thank rescuers” appeared in USA Today on May 3, 2007, which coincided with the AFEES reunion of that year in St. Louis.  The article features the experiences of WWII American airman Clayton David who was helped by Dutch Resistance member Joke Folmer.  It also provides some history of the origins of AFEES.  Click on the article to increase its size.
