It features the story of 19-year-old Joseph Perry, gunner on a U.S. Air Force bomber, Clayton David, co-pilot of a B-17, who were shot down during WWII, and three of their Dutch helpers, Fredrick Gransberg, Jacques Vrij, and Joke Folmer.
